Pushing ever closer to the final events of Varsity 2017, English Institute of Sport Day brought all the excitement and Varsity spirit. The uncompromising support brought their homemade banners and energy.
The first events of the day were Table Tennis, which saw all of the points go to Uni of Sheffield in all categories, Men’s 1 and 2’s and Women’s 1’s. Next was the Women’s Netball 4’s, won by Team Hallam, in addition to Netball 3’s and 1’s, taking 3 of the 4 Netball points, Uni of Sheffield’s Netball 2’s denying them a clean sweep.
Women’s Volleyball saw strong resistance by the Uni of Sheffield but the win went to Team Hallam in both 1’s and 2’s.
